This is Bub, one of the two main protagonists of Taito´s arcade release “Bubble Bobble” in the year 1986. Baron Von Blubba has kidnapped their girlfriend and turned Bub an Bob into dragons. Playing this one in multiplayer mode is always great.

The Monkey Island is nothing without a good used ship salesman – especially when it is a pirate island. So here he is: Stan S. Stanman, the most eccentric used ship salesman the world has seen.

Stan S. Stanman, with his vibrant checkered jacket and uncontainable enthusiasm, has become an iconic figure on the island. Known for his never-ending energy and fast-talking sales pitch, Stan is the go-to guy for any pirate looking to purchase a vessel, be it a modest sloop or a grand galleon. His sales lot is a hodgepodge of ships, each with its own unique (and often dubious) history, ready to set sail for the right price.

Walking into Stan’s sales lot is an experience in itself. The lot is a bustling hive of activity, with brightly colored banners flapping in the sea breeze, and various ships in different states of repair. Stan’s unmistakable voice booms across the yard as he passionately extols the virtues of each vessel, his hands moving in animated gestures.

This little one is Gomez from the indie game “Fez” released in 2012. Some of you might know either from the game itself or the documentary “Indie Game: The Movie”. He´s easy to create and takes not more than 10min to build. Little kids love him – picking him from my fridge right away.

King Knight – Well, no real king at all

The King Knight is one of eight Knights of “The Order of no Quarter” from the great Sidescroller “Shovel Knight” released in 2014. I put him behind bulletproof glass so he´s no harm at all. I used purple cardboard as background – the colors are matching great. By the way: he´s no real king – just optics.
